Camping in Nurmes

The campsite is part of the Hyvärilä Youth and Holiday Centre. Located on the shores of the Lake Pielinen, you can stay in a camping cabin, caravan, caravan, caravan or tent. The campsite is suitable for the whole family and offers activities for all ages; beach, playground, parkour, canoes, kayaks, SUP-boats, fatbikes, etc. can be rented. The outdoor playground offers hockey and basketball, beach volleyball courts and the PielisAreena sports hall, which offers activities even in bad weather. A new addition is the Padel court.

The main building of the area houses the reception, a café-restaurant for the whole area, where a delicious buffet breakfast and a lunch buffet are served daily.

We also have other accommodation options to suit different needs, such as the comfortable rooms of the Hotel and the high quality ten-bed holiday apartments.

In the camping area you can opt to stay in a cottage, trailer, camper van or tent. We have 50 parking spaces with electrical outlets for trailers and camper vans. The campsite also includes two maintenance buildings complete with toilet and shower facilities, a handicap bathroom, rental sauna facilities, and stations for cooking, emptying chemical toilets and grey water disposal.

The Hyvärilä campsite has 50 electrified caravan and caravan pitches and several tent pitches. There are two service buildings with toilets and showers, disabled toilets, on-demand toilets, chemical toilet flushing, grey water flushing and cooking facilities.
