Tonttupolku invites you to a Christmas adventure in Hyvärilä! You can peek through the windows of the elf cottages, learn about the everyday lives of the elves, and hear various stories about the elves’ activities. Welcome the whole family to the Tonttupolku cottage village at the Hyvärilä camping area between 29.11.2025 and 6.1.2026.
Elf cottages
On the Tonttupolku, you can peek into the everyday lives of the elves through the windows of the atmospheric elf cottages. Each of the eight elf cottages reveals a different Christmas world, and each cottage has its own story to tell, which can be read from the cottage door. Along the Tonttupolku, you will find at least the Elf Information Office, the Forest Animal Christmas Party, and the Elf Grand Gathering.
- The opening of the Tonttupolku is on Saturday, November 29th from 1-3pm.
- On the opening day, there will be guided tours of the Tonttupolku.
- On Saturday, December 13th, there will also be guided tours.
- The Tonttupolku can be visited independently until January 6th, 2026.
- You can find the Tonttupolku by following the signs from the PielisAreena parking lot.
- The Tonttupolku is suitable for the whole family.
Elf Village’s Christmas in Danger – sequel story
An eight-part elf story can be listened to and read in connection with the Tonttupolku. In the story, the angry Manteli-elf has stolen Mrs. Santa Claus’s gingerbread, and the whole of Elf Village is in chaos! Without gingerbread, nothing will come of the Christmas preparations and the whole of Elf Villages’s Christmas is in danger! Come listen to or read how Elf Villages’s Christmas goes… The events of one of the elf cottages are also related to this longer elf story.
